It is a R2 virtual machine so I’ll kick off a checkpoint before I run those dism commands just on case! Once they are ran will I be able to run disk clean-up in the usual way or is this the new way to clean-up windows update in server R2? Thanks for that Akshay!

I got a rather worrying error when I ran the dism. Any ideas what is going on here and how do I sort that corruption problem before I proceed with doing the clean-up? It has generated a 17 MB log file so too big to paste in here but let me know if you need any extracts from it to help you help me get to the bottom of this problem. Disk cleanup doesn’t appear to be able to cleanup the windows update files for some reason and that is what I need help with allowing me to do that.
