April 30, Your \”Collectorz\” program for my books is \”excellent\”. Keep up the good work!! April 25, I have really enjoyed the use of your products over the years. The Books and Comics in particular made cataloging my collections a whole lot easier to finish and sort. It was really nice that I was able to add most items without having to enter each piece of data separately, like some of the other software out there.

The use of a barcode reader just made it that much faster. I still had to manually input a fairly large number of books as they were printed before the barcode system came into being, but even that, for the most part, was reasonably easy to do by using the ISBN. A bit tougher to enter the ones without any ISBN listed, but there the search by title and author made things doable. April 22, I also wanted to take a moment to thank you for creating the Book Collector software.

I have an extremely large book collection that I need to downsize, and I was hoping to find a tool that would allow me to easily catalog my books so I could determine which ones to sell, which ones to bring to the used bookstore, and which ones to keep.

I also wanted to capture other details about my books. I discovered your website by pure chance through a Google search, and I am so happy I did since your software does everything I wanted to do and more!

I having been working with data for 35 years and find that most tools lack the functionality that users would like, but that is not the case with Book Collector. It is very intuitive and user-friendly, and I have been able to figure out how to do something without looking at the manual.

With the app synchronization, this work is very easy. Thanks again for the wonderful resources you have created. USA on Book Collector. April 06, My old computer is dying, and I\’ve been having a terrible time transferring various applications to the new one. But YOU have clear instructions for moving Book Collector on your website, and everything worked exactly the way the directions said it should.

Thank you! January 26, Thank you for a wonderful program by the way; it was good when I bought it a few years ago and just keeps getting better and better I just need to use it more often.

January 24, I continue to be very pleased with your Book Collector system – it is unquestionably in my opinion the number 1 application in its category, and the support I have received on the few occasions I\’ve required it has been first class; I never hesitate to recommend it to friends though of course I can never guarantee they will follow my advice! January 01, Dear Alwin and all at CLZ, Thank you so much for all you have done to keep this amazing program going!

Seeing your Christmas card made me smile and cry at the same time. Thank you for all you do! PS I love the Big Sur update! I\’m starting off with a custom bookcase wall being fitted and can\’t wait to use your program to organise my humble collection!

December 30, So happy to be a part of the CLZ world wide family. Your team has made my life a little easier by helping me manage my home book library. This tale of obsessive love–the story of a lonely clerk who collects butterflies and of the beautiful young art student who is his ultimate quarry–remains unparalleled in its power to startle and mesmerize. As a horror story, this book is a remarkable tour de force. Read more Read less.

In this chilling archetypal tale of good and evil, a beautiful, idealistic young woman studying art in London is kidnapped by a startlingly ordinary young man who wants only to keep her–like the butterflies he has collected before her.

James Wilby is superb as the collector, by turns angry, indignant, whining, and threatening, and the terrified, but defiant, prisoner waging war against her captor while in secret journals struggling to come to terms with her past and present. Despite a lengthy digression on the meaning of art and the British class struggle, this powerful reading of a haunting tale will echo in the reader\’s psyche long after the words fade away.

The success of his first novel, The Collector, published in , allowed him to devote all his time to writing. Fowles spent the last decades of his life on the southern coast of England in the small harbor town of Lyme Regis. Read more. Customer reviews. How are ratings calculated? Frederick Clegg is a simple man who led a lonely life. Working as a town clerk, Frederick tries to make friends, but his oddities prevent any real connections.

Miranda Grey is a vibrant twenty year-old art student from an affluent middle class family. Her life seems to be bright and full of potential until she encounters Frederick. Waking bound and gagged in a cellar, her life drastically changes.

To her credit, Miranda is determined to take steps necessary to survive. However, his need to keep Miranda overrides any sense of morals as he provides everything she wants given she remains his possession. At first, she seems snobbish and demanding, and in some ways she is, but she is resolute about doing what she must to ultimately escape. Reading about her coping mechanisms is compelling, along with her ideas of beauty, love, violence and art which make broader statements about the state of society at that time yet still relevant today.

The way Frederick treats Miranda is perverse in certain ways, being a butterfly collector by hobby, she becomes his prized aberrational specimen. Though he believes he wants unconditional acceptance, it becomes clear what Frederick wants. Ultimately, the truth about Frederick is revealed leaving a lasting impression. In this novel, the dynamic between captor and captive is deeply complex. The dichotomy between creating worlds to justify reality was also fascinating and the author used these elements with exacting precision.

And, the character references to The Tempest are skillfully apt. The Collector is a book that resonates long after reading the last word. A psychological thriller in genre, and perhaps one of the earliest of its kind, it delves into the minds of its characters and offers brutal honesty even when the reader is hoping for an alternative reality.

I highly recommend! I can see where the book is ahead of it\’s time. But, in today\’s psychological thrillers. This book is slow and bland. Not being disrespectable here. The story starts with a lonely man Frederick Clegg that has come by with a large sum of money and now he can buy anything he wants.

But Clegg is so damaged and different he longs for Miranda a young and beautiful art student. He watches her, he loves her in his weird way.

All he wants is for her to love him. He plans for her and builds the perfect place for her. Then he waits for the right time to take her for his own. He lures her to his van and he chloroforms her and kidnaps her. The story is about how he wants to control her, but at first he does not want to hurt her. He wants to love her and he wants her to love him.

Miranda does everything she can to make him let her go. But, she makes one mistake and Frederick\’s feeling for her change. He no longer believes her or will help her as much. Danggit, I really wanted to like this book. I think probably I just found the premise dated. Maybe when it first came out decades ago it had more punch. Unfortunately for me, this punching bag was out of air. But the book gets lots of very positive reviews. Try it for yourself and let me know what you thought. I wish more paperback publishers were as thoughtful.

Furthermore, this book doesn\’t have to over-rely on gruesome details or graphic imagery to convey a touching story into the mind of the reader. I definitely did not expect the ending and almost didn\’t see there was a chapter four lurking back there. Author does a good job of providing suspense.

My only complaint is that the book could have been shorter by cutting the endless ranting about G. I know, I get it, it serves as very important character development for Emma and to give the reader further insight as to her behavior in relationship to \”Caliban,\” but after like one hundred pages of it I literally sighed and wanted to punch G. Otherwise, the development of both characters is excellent.

I so wanted this book to be good like the 1st нажмите чтобы узнать больше unfortunately, it ended up being a disappointment like the 2nd one.

The story itself has potential but the author simply didn\’t biok close to making the most of it. There are no twists and turns in the collector book 3 free download plot. There was never a point where I just couldn\’t put it down. It was definitely lacking suspense. One of the things I found particularly strange and annoying was the relationship between the characters. They were portrayed like some cutesy high school clique, having sleepovers and hugging and hanging on each other all the time, much like the teenage girls from the previous books.

I seriously doubt that FBI agents act like that with one another. Overall it was just a tedious read. I would have given this book a zero rating, if it was available. I reviewed it, and gave it five stars. It upsets her too much, and wishes Protag quits working in crimes against children. What kind of agent is she?

Eighty 80 percent of agents in book are gay. Think junior high sleepovers. Protag http://replace.me/11044.txt written as a strong woman.

Great, but to disregard every order given to her. Me thinks she be out of the FBI on her butt in nothing flat. Overall not worth reading. In case anyone cares, I have worked in the child abuse arena for many, many years. The Butterfly Garden was such a unique book. The Roses dollector May was likewise a unique take on a serial killer. I was expecting great things from this one as well. I was a bit let down with this one.

The writing in this novel the collector book 3 free download the series seemed a bit forced. The dialogue seemed unrealistic and overly sarcastic from some of the characters.

I feel like the relationship dynamic experienced by Mercedes was unrealistic. Anyone in a relationship with someone who works with child crimes should expect some terrible the collector book 3 free download conditions. The fact that her girlfriend struggled with that makes me question why they were even together in the first place. That storyline didnt make much sense to me. The climax of this novel did not seem impactful to me.

Normally I feel sort of an adrenaline rush and am on the edge of my seat. With this one, i didnt have much feeling at all. I almost feel like this series should have xollector after the second collectog. I was not crazy thhe the general storyline of the book.

Too unsettling for my taste, however I did read the entire book. I read the two previous stories and enjoyed them a lot but this book deviated from the writing style of those collwctor. I think the story here was more about the agents but they were not believable as written. This was a very enjoyable 3rd book in the Series. I read The Butterfly Garden, The Roses of May, and The Summer Children more or less consecutively 1 or 2 books in betweenand the standard of excellence established in the first book has been maintained throughout.

As I read books two and three, I tried to pay attention to whether each would have been as enjoyable if I hadn\’t read the prior books. Certainly while each book stands on its own, I\’d highly recommend reading them in order, starting with The collector book 3 free download Butterfly Garden.

Several characters are introduced in each book, many of whom continue into the next book. Their back-stories are important. But it\’s hard to get the full depth of their importance from a brief recounting of their stories. At least I found it much more enjoyable to feel like I already knew those characters when they were referenced. I don\’t know if there will be more books in the Series I hope there willbut I highly recommend The Summer Children and the 2 prior books.

Was a book I couldn\’t put down. Even at work when I had a few minutes I\’d pick it up just to read a few sentences. The Summer Children by Dot Hutchison was outstanding. I laughed, I cried. Dot Hutchison brought the words to the collector book 3 free download with her writing style at least for me.
