It begann when i install something today with an registry edit. After that the PC got slow so i tried a restart. Please note, it wasnt a shady installation – there are plenty others using this.

Now my PC is in a bootloop when it starts up. The Windows logo and loading circle show up permanentely and it wont go further than that. For a millisecond, it can be seen that command prompt is openend and closed shortly after in between the windows logo and the blank screen.

I can boot into a PE software. I tried the \”Lazesoft recovery suite\”. However, as soon as i try to enter the windows recovery there it freezes. Was this reply helpful? Yes No.

Sorry this didn\’t help. Thanks for your feedback. First it shows something like \”preparing automatic repair\” i translate from german and then same result as before: a command window shows up for a millisecond and after that black screen.

Hi Marco The best option would be to try to boot into the Windows Recovery Environment and run a System Restore from there, that restore would undo whatever Registry edit you performed and hopefully get WIndows to boot correctly. No it fails before giving me any options. Hi Marco I am sorry, if you cannot enter the recovery Environment through the normal means or by using the USB drive, then your system is very badly corrupted and most likely your only option now is to clean install Windows To give an update: I removed the SSD with windows and put it into my other desktop pc. It worked. I then tried to boot there with the SSD. I then connected only one HDD and tried again.

Error on one HDD! Will investigate that more. This site in other languages x.
