Each version of office WAS originally activated with their own activation code. It tells me the product code doesn\’t work, and running a repair didn\’t solve the problem, nor did an online repair, nor a full unistall and re-install.

I have Office installed on two computers. One computer started asking if I wanted to try microsoft office 2016 will not update free free trial offfee I declined. It tells me it cannot activate the product code, or that the product code is already in use if I 2106 it in manually. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Office via my account – no luck. I did not do the original installation myself. I see two computers when I log into my account, but nit one product code, which is not the same as the product slip stuck to the side of the problematic computer.
